The kick-off meeting of the TwinnToInfect project was held on April 13-15, 2016, in idyllic Arrábida Convent, Setúbal, Portugal, with the participation of 19 Group Leaders from the three partner institutions and the invaluable contribution of Professor Herman Waldmann (Advisory Board). On the first day, an overview of the project as well as the synopsis of its expected impact in excellence, competitiveness and innovation was presented by the Coordinator, Professor Maria M. Mota. The second day was dedicated to the presentation of the scientific interests of the participants and the discussion of potential collaborations to be established throughout the project.
